Cal OSHA Inspection Results…

Safety World, Inc. is aware of a number of accounts that have been inspected by Cal OSHA enforcement. In all cases, the written Injury & Illness Prevention Program materials passed with good review comments. The training and inspection records were a part of those inspections. Penalties have been minor and directly related to employers not completing recommendations made by Safety World, Inc.

Cal OSHA enforcement issued no penalties for our work. In one case, the client was initially advised that his penalty would be $40,000. The actual penalty levied, after safety program and activities discounts, was “reduced” to $2,500 due to the compliance achieved resulting from services rendered by Safety World,® Inc.

One client saw a Workers Compensation experience modification factor drop from 129% to 80% this year. The premium savings was $5,438. Another account had their Workers Compensation experience modification factor drop from 148% to 85% over three years. These results were attributable to the services provided by Safety World, Inc. in partnership with the business owner and manager.
